Hume was founded by Charu Jeevanandam — shaped by a life lived across cultures, across homes, across the experience of belonging somewhere and beginning again somewhere else. That life gave her something most designers are never asked to develop — a deep and personal understanding of what it means to feel at home. Not just comfortable. Not just aesthetically resolved. At home. Completely, honestly, and in every room.

The studio began as Olive Branch Interiors — a name that carried warmth and the promise of collaboration. It evolved into Hume naturally, inevitably, the way all honest things evolve. Not as a rebrand but as a clarification.
